CRAZY HAT COMPETITION was a great success last meeting. Gord Lowe's Gladiator Helmut took Top Prize (the only prize). Sorry, no picture. He won the Black Velvet Mickey. We hope he didn't drink it because it was hand sanitizer! There were several impressive entries such as Whitney's shown in the pictures. Thanks to all who participated!
Christmas Cutouts - This project is
proceeding well. You can also see the picture of the work bee last Saturday where approximately
40 cut outs were created and
Terri Christie and Linda Killoran have prepped them this week. Thanks to
Geri, Brenda and Lynda Thai-Baird who will be
painting cutouts at
home. For the remainder, there is a
painting social set up for
Sat. Oct 17 at Helen Henderson's. Two shifts from 10-1 and 12-3 centered by a
pizza lunch for all helpers.
Please let Jim know by Friday the 16th so Jim can order the pizza.
