Another District Governor Visit.....in this case, the Governor of District 9210 visits the APU Girls School in Malawi. A direct result of our clubs work in this country.

Club News and Views
In keeping with the theme of Economic Development the club is in last stage of approval for an $80,000 USD Microcredit project supporting entrepreneurs in Costa Rica along the Panama border.

Los Amigos - For those following the Los Amigos project of the Sunrise Club, you are invited to the "Send Off Breakfast" at Norbridge Srs Center Thurs Oct 17, 7 AM. The vehicles leave for Mexico following the meeting.

World Polio Day (Oct 24) - Jerry and Steve are planning several activities to support this campaign. Stay tuned. 
 
Rotary Foundation Tidbit - Did you know that, since inception, the members of our club have donated $495,000 USD to the Rotary Foundation. Most of this is personal (not club) money. The club has or has had 44 Paul Harris Fellows, many of these multiple PHFs. If you are not sure what all this means? Here is a link.
