In a recent announcement by District Governor Mary this years District Conference has been changed from an in person event to a virtual event and will take place April 17. The District is reworking scheduling, pricing and content. Follow updates at  http://discon5360.ca
This conference is a cornerstone of the Rotary Year and an inspiring event

The Interact Club held a successful coat drive over last weekend and have delivered the clothing to Streets Alive. They send thanks to the Rotarians who contributed/helped.

We look forward to hosting District Governor Mary Turner by Zoom for the second occasion this Rotary Year at our March 1 meeting. In addition to speaking she will also present several Paul Harris Fellows and induct Catherine Filgas.

Experienced Rotarians are needed to be mentors to new members. It is easy, enjoyable and an important responsibility to support new members and keep the club growing and strong. Our Club is looking for 10 to 12 experienced Rotarians to be mentors and help new members engage in our club. If you are one of those Rotarians will help, let Barrie Orich know bgorich@shaw.ca  and he will explain next steps.

Don't forget Lethbridge East's 50:50 Raffle. Buy you ticket before February 21.

Topics include "Leading your Club", "Planning for success", Setting Club Goals", "The Value of Community Assessments". This is a great Rotary development opportunity. www.rotary5360.ca >>>Events>>>Club/District Calendar.

Craig Dalton, the new City Manager provided a great insight into the workings and challenges of the City. His perspective was refreshing and inciteful.
Our recent club donation to the Food Program at Westminster School resulted in this "video thank you" from the students. Have a look...its only 36 seconds.
