A local connection. Jennifer Jones inducted Kristie Kruger, Past Pres of Lethbridge Urban Spirits into the Victoria Harborside Club. It was an emotional time when they discovered each others fondness for deceased PDG Bernie Carriere of our club.

There will be a service to honour the passing of Past Member Clint Dunford on Thursday July 21 at 2:00 PM at the Sandman/Lodge. Clint passed away October 14, 2021 and the service was delayed due to Covid. Clint was also a Member and Minister in the Provincial Legislature and he served this community well.

Ukraine - We now have 10 families being supported by members and the club. As the number of families grows so does our need for volunteers as each family is assigned two Rotarians/partners as support. If you can help let Todd or Brenda know.

Ribfest will take place August 19, 20 and 21 at the Enmax center. This year the event will return to a walk up event event with a drive through option. Nick is looking for volunteers to assist on the committee. nick@grdsec.ca
Recently the club announced the the availability of Spousal/Partner memberships. Spouses and Partners would have all the benefits and expectations of current members but with membership dues of only $100. If you have a partner or spouse who is interested submit an membership application which can be found on the Club Website.
