Welcome to the Rotary Club of Innisfail.

We are located in Central Alberta, just 30kms or 20 minutes
South of Red Deer, Alberta.

Library Children's Area
In 2011 we started & finished a project to furnish the Children's Area of the new Innisfail Library.

Rotary Club Signage
We are currently adding Rotary signs to the entrances of our town indicating our meeting venue and times.

Uganda - Our Third Project has been funded and started

This project is funding the construction of new libraries at schools; including equipment, text books, solar lighting, and water tanks.  Also assisting a village with mosquito nets plus agricultural training and supplies.

The funding for this project has been provided by the Rotary Club of Innisfail, Community Initiatives Program of the Government of Alberta and the Rotary Foundation.

Seniors Christmas Dinner
We are very proud that in 2011 we hosted our 35th Christmas dinner for seniors.  We had approximately 200 seniors in attendance enjoying a turkey dinner with all the trimmings, entertainment and a visit from Santa Claus.

  • New Generations Funding - RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards Program)
    Young people who are chosen for their leadership potential attend an all-expenses-paid camp to discuss leadership skills and to learn those skills through practice.
  • RYPEN (Rotary Youth Program of Enrichment)
    We sent 3 students to a program designed to build self-esteem and confidence in youths ages 13-18.
  • Adventures in Agriculture
    3 students attended this weekend in Regina.
  • Adventures in Citizenship
    Is a program in Ottawa learning about our government.
  • Innisfail Music Program
    We provide scholarships for students in the Innisfail Music Program.
  • Grade 9 Student Scholarships
    We provide scholarships for Grade 9 students attending school in Bowden, Spruce View and Innisfail, Alberta.
  • Sponsor the Bowden Interact Club
    This is a club of 29 youth at the Bowden School led by teacher and mentor Alana Routhier.
  • Rotary Youth Exchange Program
    We have selected a student, Brianna Layden from Innisfail, who will be spending a year in Germany. She will be leaving Innisfail in August of 2012. 

    Also, we will be hosting Mevce Acur, a student from Istanbul, Turkey for the 2012-2013 school year.
