Julie and Benny Holder refuse to give up on finding a miracle that could save Julie’s life. In February, 2017 Julie Holder was diagnosed with Breast Cancer at the young age of 38.
Julie underwent chemotherapy and radiation treatment before having surgery to remove the balance of the tumor. Two years on Julie has now discovered that cancer has returned in her lymph nodes and lungs.
Julie is a local woman who is doing it tough. She is a beautiful wife, mother to 2 young teenagers and step mother to 2 young pre-teenagers, daughter, sister and friend to so many
and she is ready for the fight of her life.
Julie has worked with NSW Health as an occupational therapist for many years and is a member of the Riverside Church. She has a heart that is full of compassion whose health
has been compromised significantly with her choices and freedom taken away. Nonetheless she always has a positive attitude and continues to think of others. She herself is suffering and believes that with community support it is easier than suffering alone.
Julie has a strong faith within her soul even though her journey has faced extreme difficulties. She remains grateful despite her circumstances choosing positivity amidst the
turmoil she faces.
Julie and her husband Benny are holding hope and have some very expensive avenues upon them to try and beat this. Chemotherapy has commenced however further treatment options of doing clinical trials and immunotherapy are going to be expensive. Julie and Benny are looking at the possibility of her going overseas to get some different treatments.
Julie and Benny are givers to the community and it honestly could not of struck a nicer family.
We are hoping that the community will dig deep to enable her to obtain the further treatment she needs.
