10-12 March 2023 - the Rotary District 9640 Conference. "Be Your Best Self" Focus on Chronic Disease Prevention
The last Friday of the month sees a very large crowd gather under the Grafton Library. Changing Lanes monthly meets are open to all cars or bikes. The event was created to bring together like minded people to showcase their vehicles whether JDM, Euro, hot Rod or Aussie. All age groups are included and the event is gathering momentum every month. Grafton Midday Rotary attends monthly to cook and serve a free barbecue and create exposure for the club in the community. This week Bill, Phil, Tony, Camellia, Leanne and Phil worked together to serve the masses sausage sandwiches, egg and bacon rolls and pizza. We were also honoured with a Certificate of Appreciation.
Grafton Rotary Club invited Grafton Midday Rotary members and partners to a breakfast at See Park to celebrate Australia Day. It was a beautiful, sunny morning and attendance was great. Grafton Rotary Club members put on a huge spread including: fruit platters and fruit salad, juices, sausages, bacon, eggs, toast and pancakes!! AG Anne Farrell and her husband attended as well. Great fellowship and time honouring our beautiful country.
All members of the Midday Rotary Club extend sincere condolences to President Lee on the passing of her grandmother last month. Lee was the eldest grandchild and shared many amazing memories with her Nan - who was the matriarch of five generations at the time of passing. May she rest in peace.
