PRESIDENT'S  RUMBLE

Hello everyone,

I how you have all had a good week and enjoying your weekend.

It was very exciting to see our combined Bridge park project get underway this week on Tuesday. The team consisted of Peter, Ryan & Jarrod Lynch assisted by Bob Booth, Don Cardow & Dick Pryor to clear the site. Concrete was poured on Thursday, and Peter Robinson and myself transported the furniture to the site, and disposed of the packing. Friday saw the installation of the bins and a bench chair along with the table & chairs. A huge thank to the volunteers for their hard work. Secretary Greg called in on Thursday with coffees and goodies to eat for the crew. By Monday afternoon i would expect all furniture is installed ready for use.

Past President Bob conducted the meeting on Wednesday as I was delayed at work, thanks Bob. It was very nice to have our queen candidate Jess along to meet & greet our members. Visitor Rex Wiseman from Maclean was a guest & was warmly welcomed as was all members by Herman entering the room. Herman also gave an update on our projects to our meeting.

Another month has come as we have our October board meeting on Thursday.

Thanks to Judy & Chris who have kindly organised a High Tea at Vines as a fundraiser for Jess on Saturday, so if you can make you will helping Jacaranda.

Until Wednesday stay safe & well.

Centenary President,
Robert

HUMOUR FOR THE WEEK
4 people are sitting together on a train journey through Europe, there
was a Kiwi fella, an Australian bloke, a small old granny, and also a
hot Swedish lady. The train heads on through a darkened tunnel and a
short moment later there everyone can hear the sound of a vicious
slap. After the train comes out from the tunnel, the Aussie bloke has a
nasty red hand print on his face. Nobody says anything...

The small granny assumes: The Aussie bloke must have felt up the
Swedish lady when it was dark and earned himself a slap.

The Swedish lady assumes: The stupid Aussie bloke probably tried to
touch me in the dark, but he missed and touched the small granny who in
turn slapped his face.

The Aussie bloke assumes: This Kiwi fella must have touched the hot
Swedish lady in the dark, then she tried to hit him but she missed and
hit me in the face.

The clever Kiwi fella thinks: I'm looking forward to the next tunnel so I
can slap that Aussie guy in the face once more.
