Hi everyone,
I hope you have all had a good week & looking forward to a well earned Xmas break.
First & foremost I would like to thank the efforts of Don Cardow last Saturday. We had a request to take some bottled water to the Grafton Covid Clinic in North St as there was over an hour wait, and it was very hot. In fact one person fell over, and another was holding onto the tent pole that we are aware of. In conjunction with Grafton Rotary, bottled water was provided for by President Richard along with an esky & ice, and Don came to the rescue once again & delivered it to the clinic, and collected it the next morning. Just another kind gesture that Rotary does in the community, thank you Don.
A huge thank you to not only the GMR members who assisted over the Jacaranda festival, but all the community volunteers that assisted President Desan, and festival manager Mark B to run a very successful delayed Jaca festival. What a great effort appreciated by the community. We were fortunate this year to habe been able to incorporate our annual Christmas Carols during the festival.
Wednesday was our AGM where we had a good rollup of 18 members attending. VP Lee could only attend the meeting for a short while so we dealt with the AGM 1st to allow Lee to leave early. Thank you to everyone who gladly accepted positions with all directors positions being filled.

A dynamic & exciting board to follow on from 21/22, thank you to everyone.
Our last meeting for the year will be on Wednesday 22/12, so come along and wish fellow members some Xmas wishes. We have organised to have “finger food” supplied by Chef Rick & there will be no cost to members & their guests. Our 1st official meeting for 2022 will be Wednesday January 12th, however an informal meeting will be at Roches on Wednesday 5th where committee members of the Clarence Cultural day being held on Wednesday January 26th will be held. If you are not already part of this committee & would like to be part, please contact Lee or Mark B.
