We had a lovely meeting of fellowship on Wednesday - Bob chaired the meeting partially and it was completed by our President Elect Robert Blanchard.

 

Adrian gave us a run down on his holiday in USA - that was a trip to combine the celebrations with his family for his and Ann's 50th anniversary.  Traditionally known as the GOLDEN Anniversary - gold is given as the 50th anniversary gift because it's the most timeless and treasured metal.  I admire you both and I wish you all the best and a huge congratulations to you both to get to 50 years with each other.  

 

 

We have been invited to join in the Australia Day celebrations with Grafton Rotary Club and Inner Wheel again this year.  Meet at See Park - Rotary Rotunda 7.30am for an 8am start - cost is $10 per head.

A fun morning of fellowship - hopefully Wendy is cooking up her super delicious Damper again.....

Just a quick reminder of the Joint Board Meeting for the 6th February - planning is paramount so bring along your ideas.

 

District Conference at Tenterfield is on in March - please consider coming along and not only developing Rotary knowledge but to support the community that have been doing it really hard especially during the fire season where many have lost homes and land.

I have not been to a conference as yet however have attended some of the Assembly meeting and they are a great opportunity to meet like minded people.  Lots of new ideas for projects, networking with new members and simply a good fellowship opportunity.
