Fellowship at the Crown our new meeting place was very enjoyable this week. We all spoke about what we enjoy about Rotary. A variety of projects were spoken about renewing our invigoration to serve our community.

A few apologies being made with school holidays and the Easter Break.

Hopefully those that could attend Greg Butchers flood fundraiser at the Barn had a lovely time and funds where raised for flood victims.

Our Rotary Club Flood Raiser is on the 7th May at the Crown at 6pm. Please invite your friends and families along for a fun night out Wine tasting.

This Wednesday we will induct our newest and youngest member Jack Kroehnert please feel free to invite friends and partners along to welcome him into our dynamic club.

We have a very special guest speaker Hanna Craig Jacaranda Queen to speak about her recent experience at RYLA.

A jam packed meeting to enjoy.

Save the date for our Changeover dinner on the 25th June...it will be a very memorable evening.

Until Wednesday take care and stay Safe.

FLOOD RELIEF CONCERT
While this not a club project as such, however proceeds are going to our Rotary District 9640 Flood Relief Appeal & Grafton Showground Committee for flood repairs to sheds and grounds etc. Please note there is a light lunch supplied by Erin Brown Catering in the ticket price, with a pay bar available for drinks etc.

Please spread the word!

Hi All,
Just a gentle reminder (see below) for those interested in booking your tickets for the upcoming Flood Relief orchestral concert in The Barn, Grafton Showgrounds on Saturday 23 April at 12-4pm. Music will be similar to the Proms concerts we do, very entertaining, however with a BAR this time!!

As we require numbers for catering before the day, tickets will not be available at the door.

Thank you to those who have booked tickets already, as proceeds are going to District 9640 Flood Relief Appeal and Grafton Showgrounds.

I will be notifying DG Jeff Egan of how much of a donation the orchestra is donating, for him to put aside for any 'Grafton flood assistance' our Club can help with (in other words, the Flood Appeal Donations are not all going to Lismore Clubs as first thought, but also to other areas who have been affected).

Kind Regards
Greg Butcher
Secretary

HUMOUR FOR THE WEEK
You ever had one of those days where you feel like your forgetting something. I pulled into the garage, got all the groceries out of the car. As I was walking in the house, my phone started ringing. I said "Hello honey whats up?" She asked "Where are you?"
I said "I just got home from Woolworths, why?" She said "I know,
I went with you.."
