David Falconer - Classrooms Without Walls

David Falconer, Executive Director & Founder of Classrooms Without Walls will be in attendance to share his volunteer work.

It all started back in March 2022 when David answered an email from Smart Osvita NGO in Kyiv inviting international teachers to deliver free online lessons for internally displaced students in Ukraine. David understood the great need to support Ukrainian children so he immediately committed his time to volunteer teaching for as long as it was needed. David's dedication led to Smart Osvita NGO inviting David to oversee their international teacher recruitment program.  The experience was so compelling that it made David realize that similar programs could be developed to support children in other conflict regions around the world.  The results of this work led to the creation in November 2022 of Classrooms Without Walls (CWW). CWW now oversees three programs; Teachers for Ukraine, Teachers for Myanmar and since January 2023, Teachers for Afghanistan. Classrooms Without Walls (CWW) is fortunate to have teachers from all over the world supporting its programs. Their kindness and compassion to teach children in conflict regions around the world have touched the lives of thousands of students.
