During this holiday season - many of us were able to spend it surrounded by friends, family, and those we love. Whether it was enjoying a meal together, coffee, a family game night...the time spent together was what mattered most.

We decided that this holiday season we would extend our love of giving to our community to Julia Ribaudo Extended Care Center.

The Rotary Club of Hamlin/Lake Ariel collected the sizes of all of the residents and ordered 100 cardigan sweaters (one for each resident) to be donated.  When the sweaters arrived, a name tag was ironed onto the inside of the sweater and they were carefully packaged and wrapped in beautiful wrapping paper to be delivered.

For many here, their holiday season is spent alone without family and just the staff members and other residents of the care center. We wanted to give a gift to all residents at Julia Ribaudo because it was important to us that those residents knew they were being thought of this holiday season. We hope that this small gesture to spread holiday cheer was felt by all.

Thank you to Laura Rowe, Mary Ellen Bentler, and Tyler Simons for representing our Rotary Club and delivering the sweaters to Julia Ribaudo.

We'd also like to thank the community who attends our events and supports our Rotary Club so faithfully.
Because of you, we are able to do things like this!
