Jan 15, 2023 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM Come join the fun at Hamlin Lake Ariel Rotary Club's annual Chili Cook Off with added Crock Pot Challenge! 1st Place wins $100 2nd Place wins $25 3rd Place wins a certificate for each contest Tasting tickets are $10/per person and include tastings for the Chili Cook Off AND the Crock Pot Challenge! You may purchase tasting tickets ahead of time or at the door. Payments can also be made via Venmo: @HamlinLakeArielRotary. To enter one event, click here: $15 (includes 1 tasting ticket) To enter both events, click here: $25 (includes 2 tasting tickets) Guidelines for contest: Please pre-register at www.TheRotaryCookoff.com or with any club member. Entry fee is $15 for either contest (1 admission ticket), $25 for both (2 admission tickets). Your submission should be delivered ready to serve and in a crock pot or other electric heating vessel by 2 pm- we suggest 2 gallons. We will supply power cords. Extra should be in quart or other covered containers. We will have attendants to refill as needed. Briefly describe your submission on the registration form based on ingredients. A card will be prepared at registration. Information identifying contestant is NOT permitted (~~Mary’s secret recipe~~). Please notify us if your recipe contains any common allergens such as nuts, gluten, soy, dairy. All attendees will receive 1 ballot for each contest. Corresponding entry numbers will be written on back and placed in Ballot container. Tasting starts at 3. Contestants should remain anonymous and not entice votes. Ballots will be tallied at 5:30pm, Cash prize of $100 will be awarded to the person receiving the most votes in each category. Second Place winners will receive $25, Third place will receive an Honorable Mention certificate.
