On Sunday 22/05, representatives from the 5 Rotary Clubs in Napier City, gathered on Marine Parade to plant trees.
It was a tad blustery and about 18 degrees; a glorious HB Autumn day!
Council park staff had prepared all the trees and their holes ready for us. Composted soil was in the holes ready for us to take out, put the trees and watering tubes in, and fill up again.
Great preparation certainly made our task really simple.
A jolly fine effort from all concerned and a super way to spend a Sunday morning.
Thanks everyone.
