President Doug has issued the following statement.
As a club we need to be following the recommendations and guidelines from the Government and Health Authorities and take measures for limiting the spread of this virus in our community.
The Board will monitor the situation weekly and as soon as it is declared safe by the authorities to resume social gatherings we will recommence our weekly meetings.
We have also decided to or have been advised of the cancellation of numerous other projects as f
As Rotary members we will certainly be in for a quieter time over the next few months, however Bunnings BBQ's are continuing at the current time. I would like all of us to take the time to call other members to have a chat and to check how they are coping with the limited social interactions recommended by the Government and Health authorities.
We should also be alert to the wellbeing of our members, neighbours and others in the community regarding their status of grocery and food items, and other household needs, and to provide assistance should the need arise.
Members will be kept informed of activities and developments via a weekly newsletter.
