The evolution of our Thursday morning programs

Doing a better job at communicating is a worthwhile endeavor. It is in the spirit of increasing our communication, keeping our members informed as well as sharing interesting information that we are now moving to a standard format for specific Thursday morning meetings.
The FIRST (1st) Thursday of the month will be reserved for internal speakers.
This can be a presentation by one of our own members about travel, experiences, Rotary work, opportunities for our club, and perhaps other topics that will help us get to know each other better.
The THIRD (3rd) Thursday of the month will be reserved for a club business meeting. This is a strongly endorsed guideline by Rotary International for a very good reason. It will allow our members to know more about what are club is doing and participate in what decisions about how we move forward as a club (e.g. opportunities for learning about Rotary, opportunities for planning events of all kinds etc....).
Each committee member will provide a short update and answer questions so that you, the members, are informed. We may also use this meeting to spend dedicated time on a specific topic, for example: our upcoming Art from the Heart event on May 1st.
If you would like to share your trip, your experiences, your cool ideas, please contact Manon and we will assign a date for your awesome presentation.
What happens the other Thursdays? Guest speakers of course. And in the coming months we hope to feature speakers from organizations that have benefited from our investment in them.
