9 th Annual Wine Raffle Fundraiser Results
Thanks to everyone who purchased Wine Raffle Tickets for the Rotary Club of Fish Creek's 9th Annual Wine Raffle Fundraiser, another sold out event.
Funds raised will be donated to the Calgary Food Bank.
Winners have been contacted and arrangements to deliver their prizes have been made. Prizes consist of Gift Certificates to Willow Park Wine and Spirits.
We were pleased to present cheques to these programs.
Kids Play Foundations - supporting their 2023 YYC Connect Basketball Camp/Tournament. $1,500
Kids Cancer Care -Helping fund the KCC Alumni Teens Leadership group in participating in a Homes Of Hope build in Mexico Spring 2023 $1,500
Kids Sport - helping local kids get off the sidelines and into the game $1,500
Two Wheel View - Supporting their Earn a Bike Program $1,500

The Saint Vladimir's Church is so grateful for the clubs support. We donated $9.000 supporting 350 individuals entering the center in January. Many arrive in Canada with only small back packs. Hence, they virtually have nothing to start their new lives in Canada with. Our Club donated clothing and house hold items as well as the monetary amount. Club members continue to support this cause.

Last years January Fundraiser raised $710 over 6 weeks, with all proceeds donated to the Calgary Distress Centre.
Not only did we raise a considerable amount of money with little effort, we also contributed positively to our environment. (one of our Rotary goals)

Home Space, Small Donations Committee, Rotary Club of Calgary

The Rotary Club of Calgary, through its Small Donations Committee, was pleased to be part of this multi-club project in partnership with HomeSpace. It leveraged its $5000 contribution with Rotary District Funds to $12,500. In turn this was leveraged with the Calgary Fish Creek, Calgary Heritage Park, Calgary Millennium, Calgary Olympic, Calgary Sarcee and Calgary West Rotary Clubs to $72,500.
HomeSpace, a provider of social housing in Calgary, is upgrading 8 existing family units to provide the dignity and serenity of a nice home where children and youth will grow up with fond memories.
Thank you for participating in the Annual Rotary Club of Calgary Fish Creek Golf Tournament. The weather was perfect, and we sincerely hope you had a good day. This year we made $16,500, all of which will go to our many charities that support youth, food security, disaster relief, homelessness, education, and women,
locally, nationally, and internationally.
