Rotary Meeting August 9, 2016

Sid Mark and the head table strode into the Alberta room. Michael Pierson and his piano were in fine tune for the singing of Oh Canada.  Eric Bennet gave us a meaningful invocation. Sid thanked the volunteers. Carmen Goss introduced special guests including 30 U of C Continuing Education Students from China.

A Proud Alberta Tradition of Army Reservists

Chris Day was proud to introduce a very special speaker—Lt. Col. Clapperton from the 41 Canadian Brigade. He explained that the kilt he donned for our Rotary lunch is the Highlanders uniform of the 41 Brigade and no he does not play bag pipes.
