In the new year in person meetings will be held on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month beginning on January 11th, 2022.
Please note that you will need to register (i.e. buy your ticket) in advance as tickets will not be sold at the door.
Our meetings will alternate between “In-Person” and “Zoom” formats with “In-Person” happening on the second and fourth Tuesday each month. As we are ordering the right number of plates to be served, we ask that you PRE PURCHASE your club meeting ticket no later than midnight Thursday before the club meeting. This gives the Palliser 2 business days to prepare.

The meals are plated so we pay for what we order. Once we have established a solid, consistent minimum of 50 people we will be able to transition to a buffet lunch.

This year's Christmas Dinner is at the Calgary Golf and Country Club tonight! We will be getting together to celebrate the festive season and we will follow all Alberta COVID-19 guidelines. Advanced ticket purchase was required and no tickets will be available at the door. Remember to Bring cash for your drink purchases. The cash bar cannot process debit or credit cards, and there is no ATM at the Calgary Golf and Country Club. If you have already purchased a ticket we look forward to seeing you there!
Great news from the Membership Committee!

Since the last COG, we have been fortunate to welcome three new members to the club. This will be a very brief introduction, just to let you know to look for them on the Zoom calls or at the fellowship activities until they are formally introduced in January.
Steacy and Bryan Pinney, who are under our relatively new Joint Membership category, are long-standing community contributors. Steacy is the CEO of Calgary Reads; Bryan is a retired Chartered Accountant and past Chair of Mount Royal University. Between them, they have been involved in numerous Calgary charitable activities: the Junior League, Kiwanis Club, United Way, Junior Achievement and the Calgary Stampede, among others..
Dennis Tran is a Chartered Insurance Professional and a long-time volunteer with the Make a Wish Foundation.
We extend a warm welcome to you, Steacy, Bryan and Dennis. We’re looking forward to meeting you and being able to welcome you in person once our lunch meetings at the Palliser Hotel start again in January.

Winners of the 2020 Rotary Calgary Concerto Competition were featured in a concert at the Jack Singer Concert Hall on Sunday December 12th.
Each performance was spectacular and was well received by the over 1,000 people in attendance.
This competition offers the winners a unique opportunity to rehearse and perform with orchestra (The Calgary Civic Symphony) in Calgary's premier performance venue, the Jack Singer Concert Hall at Arts Commons.
These winners were originally supposed to perform in June of 2020 however we all know what happened to live performances during that time! On February 12, the winners of the 2021 competition will be featured. We invite Rotarians to come and celebrate the wonderful work of young performing artists.
