The thundering sounds of the Star Wars theme filled the Alberta room as Michael Pierson and Manon Mitchell expertly played the majestic theme. The Head Table (Lorne Larson, Dhalia Mostafa, Roy Boettger, Eric Bennett, Rob Brookwell, Kathleen Mahony – Guest Speaker and Steve Allan) proudly marched into the room looking for all the world like a giant charm bracelet.

President Rob called the meeting to order and asked our talented musical duo to accompany our singing of O Canada. Dahlia Mostafa was invited to offer the invocation. Dahlia recited a beautiful and thoughtful invocation and the membership was invited to dine.
