Highlights from the meeting June 9, 2015

With the head table safely seated, Frank McKitrick launched into a challenging variable speed version of O Canada. Rob Brookwell delivered invocation as we regained our equilibrium, and a period of noisy fellowship followed.
Dan Pigeon, a veteran “Ride to Conquer Cancer” Rider, introduced our speaker, Dan Holinda of the Canadian Cancer Society. Our speaker began by congratulating the cancer survivors in the room, urging them to continue to live fully in the moment.
As many of you know Keith Visser has been our devoted greeter for many years and he is interested in reducing his role as full time greeter. As a result we are looking for volunteers to help him in the transition. If you are interested please contact the rotary office or Andrea Serink at andreaserink@gmail.com
