Rob joined Rotary about a year ago and has completed all the requirements to have the Red Dot removed from his name tag.
Rob is a graduate of the University of Calgary Law School and has practiced family law for about 10 years. He also co-hosts a family law podcast each week. Outside of law, he is an award winning Magician.
Rob tells me he enjoyed participating in the Big Book Sale in the spring; he has volunteered at at least one bar-b-q and has joined in some of our social events over the past year.

What is YCC?

Not to be confused with the three letter geocode assigned to our Calgary Airport, YYC, the acronym YCC stands for Youth Centres of Calgary. Our club has built a lovely relationship with YCC but what is it all about?
It will be time soon to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty, maybe even swing a hammer with Peter Harrison. We'll be helping YCC with inside renovations of YCC's Forest Lawn Marmie's House!. Find out more at our club meeting today or read on.
On Saturday Oct. 21st, 14 high school students and 5 mentors of the Stay-in-School Program enjoyed a great career exploration session at SAIT. A presentation from SAIT staff included steps to take in career planning with many pathways available to students after high school, some programs and subjects available and a bit on what campus life is like. We then took a tour of SAIT and ended with a pizza lunch. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the day and the information was so helpful to our students in planning their future.

Our club had the pleasure of hosting Yeyetsy Azuara, a Rotarian from Mexico, during a recent visit. A snapshot of this memorable occasion captured President Craig exchanging banners with her. Yeyetsy later returned to her club and shared the warm and friendly experience she had with our members during her visit. As a result, our club banner now proudly resides in its new home in Mexico!
