The Meeting March 18, 2016
By Ralph Lundberg
Before Rotarians and guests could make it into the Crystal Ballroom, they had to get by this week’s greeter Greg Stevenson, who did double duty as he delivered the invocation. A spirited march in led by Manon on violin and Michael on keyboard enabled the head table people to make their way through the crowd.
Joe Woodard, Citizenship Judge for new immigrants to the city of Calgary
By Ralph Lundberg
Manon Mitchell introduced Joe Woodard, Citizen Judge for Calgary. He is well qualified for the post, armed with degrees from four universities and experience as a journalist, academic and writer. His involvement with family support charities and relationship with Calgary’s ethnic communities has positioned him to bring a broad understanding of current society to his duties.
