HAYLEY'S HERALD
At the time of writing this I don’t have a final figure on what our bookfair made although I believe in its new format it was a success – Thank you to everyone who made this possible. Desiree can update us at our Wednesday meeting how much it made.

At our board meeting last week, we set the fees for next year, there is more information below but the full fee is $270.00. Couples pay an additional $135.00. This can be paid in instalments if you like.

I want to share with you a letter received by Don Dezentje on behalf of the Rotary Club of Murwillumbah, with regard to the Poppies Project:

Dear Mary- Ann,

The Murwillumbah Rotary Club would like to extend to president Hayley and all the members of the Rotary club appreciation and thanks for decorating the Murwillumbah Bridge with poppies as a most suitable tribute to our fallen Anzacs and subsequent ‘diggers’.

Although away on holidays and not having seen it in person, our members were absolutely in raptures for your innovative measures and thus re-iterate - Thank you very much.

Yours sincerely,

Don Dezentje,
Secretary,
Murwillumbah Rotary

This week’s speakers/presenters will be Alexander Wong and Brooke Ryan who will be giving us a run down on their RYPEN experience. At RYPEN the kids were put into coloured groups – could you please wear any colourful Rotary shirt you may have hidden at the back of your wardrobe?

Mt Warning AM’s changeover is in the process, please see the attached invitation.

Who reads this newsletter? The first person to email me hayleyryan294@gmail.com the code word or a picture that has nothing to do with Rotary gets a prize!

With the end of Rotary year (and financial year for all the numbers nerds like me) I ask you to think about when was you last donation to the Rotary Foundation? Donations can be made via the internet. If you would like to do this but are having trouble setting it up, please let me know. Alternatively, we are happy to take cash donations at the meetings.

See you Wednesday morning.

Cheers,
Hayley
