The proposed date of 11 August has been set for another packing night for You Have A Friend. Donations of toiletries such as deodorant, soap, razors and tissues will be appreciated.

Kaileen Casey has been told by Council that they received a lot of positive comments regarding the Poppies Project, we are hoping to have some of these responses so that we can pass them on to everyone involved.

There is a combined Rotary/Murwillumbah Chamber meeting on July 1 at 5.30 being held at the golf club, this is going to be a great networking opportunity for anyone who wants to attend.

The district changeover invitation has been emailed to everyone, there is a copy attached here. Bookings are limited so if you would like to attend, I would get in quickly.

Mt Warning AM’s changeover is in the process, please see the attached invitation. Changeover has a yellow theme this year for Solar Buddy. Founding member Vicki Jenkins is hand making a couple of scarves to donate to the club. One of these scarves will be raffled at the changeover. If you haven’t had the chance to see Vicki’s work, it is a beautiful, no doubt a prize you will want to win.

With the end of Rotary year (and financial year for all the numbers nerds like me) I ask you to think about when was you last donation to the Rotary Foundation? Donations can be made via the internet. If you would like to do this but are having trouble setting it up, please let me know. Alternatively, we are happy to take cash donations at the meetings.

See you Wednesday morning.

Cheers,
Hayley
