Welcome everyone to this week’s Newsletter,
Well, what a fun meeting it was with birthdays to celebrate, Director and Member Pins to present, plans to start, and quotes for every situation!
Thank you everyone for completing the Club Health Check Surveys…. so much wonderful Club feedback and suggestions! We will be using this as a start for our Club Goal Setting next week, along with discussing our 3yr Club Strategic Plan…… very exciting!
Judy spoke to us about Father’s Day, and creating some beautiful gifts for the men at our local Aged Care facilities. These were so well received and appreciated last year, it makes this such a ‘feel good’ project.
So can everyone please remember to bring in Handkerchiefs, Razors,
or donations for purchase of these please.
Jeff spoke to us about Polio Plus, including the Clem Renouf Award. To achieve this, we need to raise $10 per member, for Polio Plus….. so very easy, and so achievable! So lets do it! We then receive a Special Recognition Certificate… which will be presented by our District Governor…. and I am told that he will spare no expense to travel to our meeting asap, to present this! So please bring along a $10 note next week…. Or transfer $10 directly into our bank account and mark it as “Polio Plus”.
Looking forward to seeing you all on Wednesday morning,
Yours in Rotary,
Jeannie
