Great Presentation by Murray and Nadine Low from the Airdrie Rotary Festival of Performing Arts. So proud of the Rotary Club to be the Presenting Sponsor for two years and committed already for next year. Our Mission Statement

The Airdrie Rotary Festival of Performing Arts promotes the appreciation of music and speech arts by organizing and operating an annual festival that encourages amateur performers and students to participate and perform in a non-competitive environment, leading toward further personal growth and excellence.

About the Festival

Teaching and learning is the focus of the Festival. Highly qualified adjudicators share the benefits of their training and experience in a workshop atmosphere. Entrants come away with new skills and ideas, as well as increased motivation and enthusiasm about their area of interest.

Our inaugural year was very successful and well-received by the community. Disciplines this year include; Piano, Vocal, Musical Theatre, Choral, Strings, Speech and Band Instrumental. Our focus will be on learning and teaching in a non-competitive environment.

Our Festival was accepted into the Alberta Music Festival Association. Therefore, in 2013, participants will be eligible to compete at the Provincial Music Festival in Edmonton.
