The Mallory Room at the Creston Golf Club was tastefully decorated in autumn colours and our 2nd Ladies Appreciation Dinner and Evening was an astounding success.

 

a total of 56 were in attendance to enjoy the evening that commenced at 5PM on October 19th and we think the last couple left at 9:50PM (the Minichiello's ?).  23 spouses were hosted by 27 Club members as well as 6 invited guests.  The Monte Anderson Trio provided live music for an hour and a special "tribute to Cliff Walker" was made by Jack Wigen and Ken Huscroft -- they presented Cliff with a Paul Harris Fellow award.  President Arthur was the Master of Ceremonies.

Corsages were presented to each "special lady" attending, chocolates from "Mountainside Cherries" (Wade & Michelle Webber) and "business cards" provided by our printer Peter were also presented (a few errors were noticed and these will be corrected -- our apologies to those affected).

A very special thanks to the Club Committee Chairman -- Dave Handy for his many hours of dedication to create a wonderful evening -- to his spouse -- Ruth for her hand in the decor and of course to our members for the preparation, kitchen, reception, wine and dinner serving and of course the clean-up.

A major major undertaking that proved to be worth every effort by the nice words of thanks and encouragement from the spouses.
