Dave Handy is INSTALLED by DG 2008/09 Allan Davis

Creston Valley Rotary Club's 2008 INSTALLATION & Social evening began around 6:00PM with Milt Sadlon greeting the 73 members and guests who attended.  Controller, George Green made sure that all were duly accounted for and that they received the meal which they had pre-ordered.

Members and guests mingled & visited until 7:00PM when MC Art Rees called on everyone to please join Walt Reider in the singing of our National Anthem.  Rusty Wright was then called on to offer the grace.  Incoming District Governor Allan Davis and his wife Dorial were introduced after which the meal was served by Stephan's staff.

Past President Art Rees then had all members introduce their spouses, guests, and themselves.  This was followed by the induction of two new members to our club by incoming president Dave Handy, incoming DG Allan Davis outgoing president Ron Toyota and outgoing secretary Al Garrecht.  Pictured here are the two new members, Wesley Graham and Bruce Faunt visiting with member Cliff Walker:

Art Rees then gave a glowing recognition to member Milt Sadlon who will be leaving us to move to Ontario around mid-July.  This was then followed by a very touching tribute to the memory of member Bill Bridgman given by incoming president Dave Handy.  We lost Bill very tradgically last fall.

Outgoing president Ron and outgoing secretary Al then presented Paul Harris Fellowships to Rick Minichiello (in absentia) and to Charlie Moon for their contributions to the club over the years. Pictured here is Charlie:

During his "Last Stand" speech, outgoing president Ron Toyota  gave a big "Thank You" to his executive and made note that our recently concluded WineART 2008 had netted some $6300 for the club's projects.

The incoming executive for the 2008/09 Creston Valley Rotary Club were then officially INSTALLED by 2008/09 DG Allan Davis.
