Dear Fellow Rotarians,

Since my first announcement, I have been overwhelmed by the outpouring of support offered by Rotary Clubs and individual Rotarians throughout our district for the victims of Hurricane Harvey.  Rotary is a generous and caring family, and you make me proud to be a Rotarian.

I am pleased to be able to share two more ways that Rotarians can help.  Money is always needed, but there are other ways to give.  Blood donations centers are not able to collect desperately needed supplies in the Houston area.  Donations made in New Mexico and west Texas are critically needed for south Texas residents.  I have attached a list of blood drives in New Mexico.  DGE Linda Woodward is working with Rtn. Martin Gomez to provide a list of blood drives in west Texas.

If you donate, please mention that you are donating on behalf of Rotary.  Later, we will be able to assess the impact that Rotary has made.

Many Rotarians have asked me for an online donation option, and I am pleased to be able to provide this link to Rotary District 5930 Hurricane Harvey relief efforts. As additional options become available, Rotary International will provide more information.

If you are unable to directly link from the above, please copy and paste it in your web browser.

Thank you for your help during this time of need.

Sincerely,
Doreen Fox Kelsey
