UNM Rotaract Club

The eleventh annual Love Your River Day was a successful river-wide clean-up program because of all of the great support from the Santa Fe community!

On February 18, 2017, 170 people completed the river wide clean up by removing over 325 bags of debris from the Santa Fe River.

Santa Fe Watershed Association , celebrating it’s twenty-year anniversary, would like to give a special thank you to Chris Ortiz and the City of Santa Fe staff at Frenchy’s Field for helping us put on this event. The River was left in beautiful condition, thanks to the efforts of the volunteers, on this perfect sunny day!

Our sincere gratitude is extended to all of the volunteers, including the UNM Rotaract Club and the SF Community College Veterans Resource Center, who helped make this event. A special thank you is also extended to the Santa Fe Botanical Garden, Outside Magazine, Iconik Coffee Roasters, Dunkin’ Donuts, Trader Joe’s, Kakawa Chocolate House, Verde, the City of Santa Fe, and the County of Santa Fe for all of their generous donations and support.

Finally, a huge THANK YOU to the participants, who powered through the river and arroyo channels to get the job done!

Sincerely,

Rio de Santa Fe

(and Raquel, Keely, and Andy from the Santa Fe Watershed Association)
