The Women of Rotary
This page is dedicated to telling the story of the role women have played in making Rotary the great organization that is today. The events leading up to the decision to admit women into Rotary will be detailed but, more importantly, the tremendous effects of their contributions will be explored.
Over time this page will cronical the stories of these Rotarians around the globe and also those right here in our own district and club.
This is a work in progress so please feel free to offer your insights and content so we can share this fantastic story with all our fellow Rotarians.
As an initial offering this video from Rotary International is here for your edification. It demonstrates the view of women in Rotary from the perspective of a pre-1987 world. It was in 1987 that Rotary admitted women to US Rotary clubs.
