Friday, November 16, 2018, the Rotary Club of Kampala South club members set off at 7:30 a.m. from Oasis mall Nakumatt towards Bubuule tree planting site in Mpigi. Rotarian Emmy, Roger, Omoding, Aggrey and Ssewagudde led the tree planting activity which commenced at 9:00 a.m.
 
In partnership with the Kisubi brothers and PKF, we were able to plant 1500 eucalyptus and 500 pine trees. The club members later proceeded to Nyabushozi for their vocational tour and hospitality. On arrival, tents were erected and members had dinner and relaxed as music played in the back ground. Rotarian Taremwe welcomed the club members to his Ranch. On Saturday, November 17, 2018, club members were taken on a vocational tour to learn more about exotic cattle on the Ranch. Club members watched the cattle being dipped to remove and prevent ticks. They were a variety of exotic cattle like Borans, friesians cows and so on. One could hardly count the many herds of cattle that came for a dip. For more details please click this link.

The members later returned to have a hefty luncheon, played board games, sang and danced to DJ Peter and Nash’s music. There were plenty of drinks and everyone was merry.

Sunday, November 18, 2018, club members departed from Nyabushozi at 9:00 a.m. for Kampala and arrived at 3:00 p.m.
