Monday, June 25, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. was an amazing fun packed fellowship. Our very own Rtn. Past President Jane Bitek Langoya spoke with precision to an enthusiastic audience. The topic was, what we needed to know about a legal marriage. Some of her highlights were; how couples could tell their edibility criteria for marriage, how important it was to get married from a licensed entity for example licensed churches, Mosques and so on, and the recognized types of marriages in Uganda to mention but a few.The topic was so sensitive and interesting that they attracted, a flood gate of pertinent questions. These included; the assumed legality of marriages that were not registered with Uganda Registration Services Bureau and when and how the court got involved in marriages with legality disputes. Rtn. Past President Jane responded to all question with comprehensibility. This left majority of attendees gratified with apprehension propelling them to know more about the importance and legality of a marriage and the usefulness of the Uganda Registration Services Bureau.

Rtn. Richard gave a brief update about Mr Mohammed Musisi’s health and medical bill status at Naggalama Health Center. He urged member to generously contribute towards the medical expenses of the patient that was discovered at the Kikandwa health camp and maternity ward commissioning day.

We were also honored to have a cocktail of clubs from within Uganda and Kenya such as the Rotary Club (RC) of Langata Nairobi and RC Mbarara. A club banner was exchanged between RC Kampala South and RC Langata. Past President Anthony graced the fellowship with so much humor. This left the crowd very happy. Here is a pictorial view of a lovely fellowship it was. For more details please click this link.
