On Monday, January 28, 2019, the Rotary Club of Kampala South held an amazing fellowship. Over 80 guests looked forward to Faridah’s story on “Breaking gender barriers into media”. Faridah recounts as she rose to the top in media, she was always told she was not good enough but her resilience eventually paid off because she believed in herself. There were times when she was given less juicy stories to cover but she challenged her superiors when she came up with a popular talk “Mwasuzze Mutya”, a program that has outlived many others and generated good viewership for NTV station. For more details please click this link.
