The Rotary Club of Kampala South once again hosted over 100 Rotarian and guest at fellowship on Monday, September 7, 2018, Hotel African at 6:00 p.m. We were overly joyed to having hosted the delegates from India who visited our District (D9211). President Ian through the exchange of banner expressed his since gratitude towards our Indian Rotarians and guests.

The guest speaker Herbert Odankie Mucunguzi was then introduced to speak about “Your Pay KWESA TV”. He spoke passionately about the digital services the television offered across Africa such as Kwesé iflix, mobile application and purchase of decoders.  A live video was watched that further helped the audience understand programs one could view on Kwese TV. Questions were asked concerning other mobile application like National Television mobile application that had earlier on been introduced on the market and the difference with Kwese mobile application. Appropriate responses were given and a satisfied audience was visibly noticed.

The Sergeant at Arms was all smiles when Kwese TV decided to gift the Rotary Club of Kampala South with a free decoder and satellite dish. As the Rotary Club of Kampala South “Gratitude Pound Session” was rolling, the audience anxiously waited for the raffle draw moment. Rotarian Barbara Ogang  from Rotary Club of Kiwatule was the lucky winner of the Kwese TV decoder and satellite dish which was handed over to her by our Indian guest, and Mr. Herbert Odankie Mucunguzi.
