Rotarians in Singapore embarked on a joint project with NParks and the Garden City Fund to plant mangrove trees in Singapore as part of the One Million Tree Planting Project Singapore. Tree planting is important to all Rotary clubs worldwide as one of Rotary's areas of focus is the environment.
As part of this project, the Rotary Club of Marina City along with other Rotary Clubs in Singapore raised funds to support this effort and joined in planting trees in Pasir Ris Park on 11 February 2023.
