A communications and marketing professional, Lynette Lim set her heart on working for a non-profit when she was only five years old. Inspired by the selfless devotion of the medical professionals who aided her recovery from a spate of health challenges, Lynette quickly developed a deep passion for charitable work.

Over the last 20 years, Lynette’s communications and marketing experience spans across the international humanitarian and public sectors. Focusing on delivering positive outcomes that strengthen beneficial relationships on local, national and international levels, Lynette develops customised solutions to transform needy communities.

Lynette is currently the Director of Development and Communications at Hagar Singapore – a registered charity in Singapore and part of a global organisation that works to restore the lives of women and children who have survived human trafficking, slavery and other extreme human rights abuse. In her capacity, she develops multi-sectoral collaborations, awareness and fundraising initiatives to empower vulnerable communities.

Fully cognisant of the fact that the world’s problems are way too big and complex, Lynette draws encouragement from working to see lives changed, one at a time. Outside of work, Lynette journeys with young adults, helping them to live a purposeful life.
