Rummage Reflection

I have a moment to sit and ponder the newly concluded rummage sale, and the joy I feel begins with the simple ability to put up my feet. Ahhh...  

 

Ok, there are vastly more things for which I am grateful, and thankful, and joyful regarding.  Congratulations, friends, for a SUCCESSFUL fundraiser! We helped close the gap on our budget shortfall. How much?  Well, there is a final accounting to be done, but I would say in general that we halved our deficit. 

 

Thank you, Nate and Jordan for the use of your property, and equipment!  I'm happy to have helped, but stand in awe of your hard work!

 

We had help from many, whether donating items or working on site to collect, unpack, sort, pack, and haggle. I love the enthusiasm and good cheer! Honestly, thank you all for your contributions of time and treasure!

 

Thank you to DG Herb Schmidt, Tom Thompson, David Manning, Thomas Jefferson, Jennifer Miller, and others from the AM club for your donations and your help!  We couldn't have done it without you.  And to the various spouses, parents, and partners, I say THANK YOU!  Jordan's dad is a rock star!

 

We still have some work to do to fulfill our obligations to the community, but we are substantially further along!
