International Exchange Student Applications Due Oct 1

Applications for students ages 15-18 interested in studying abroad for the 2016-17 school year are due Oct 1. Please contact Deb Maertens, chair of the exchange student committee, for an application. Read more about Rotary Youth Exchange here! The Rotary Youth Exchange is for high school aged students who are interested in living and studying abroad for one year.
Its goal is to promote the advancement of international understanding, goodwill and peace at the person to person level. Students typical stay with two or three different host families during their year abroad. No language prerequisites. Deb's daughter Anne was a RYE to Spain. FMPM President Holly Anderson was a RYE to Argentina. It's an incredible experience that changes the whole family! This is the first year the FMPM club has sponsored an oubound student.
