Rotary Day of Service  -   Feb 23.

This month Rotary celebrates the first Rotary meeting which was convened by Chicago attorney Paul Harris on February 23rd, 1905. Harris was joined by three others that day Gustavus Loehr, Hiram Shorey, and Silvester Schiele. Clubs around the world will join in on the Rotary Day of Service, completing and participating in service projects all over the globe.
A little closer to home, Glacier Valley Rotary will also be taking part by performing a spring cleanup project at Wildflower Court. Our project will be taking place February 23rd from 2-4pm and will be taking the place of the normal Wednesday meeting. Members should start assembling at 1:30 at Wildflower (2000 Salmon Creek Lane) Types of work we'll be performing includes: pressure washing, exterior washing, interior reorganization, painting, sweeping, etc; Who knows? maybe it will inspire us to get some Spring cleaning done at our own homes and offices :)
See you on Thursday!
