The Rotary Club of Citrus Heights Club Foundation was founded in 2005 with the commitment to foster a sense of community while growing it's funds to support various projects and opportunities brought to us locally. While we invest time and resources into giving back, we also encourage our members to support our club's fundraising efforts. As we continue to grow, we are looking for additional support. Grants

The Rotary Club of Citrus Heights, Community Service Division, seeks grant applications from 501(c)(3) and other viable groups for projects benefiting the Citrus Heights Area. Strong consideration will be given to proposals with participation of the Club’s membership and/or joint projects with other Rotary Clubs. The Division accepts and reviews completed grant applications on an on-going basis, subject to funding availability. Applicants will be notified of award determinations upon the Division’s review.  Proposals up to $1,000 are encouraged, and any exceeding amounts will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Any awarded amounts are subject to the Division’s discretion and funding availability.  

College Scholarships

The Rotary Club of Citrus Heights has available financial assistance scholarships for up to four (4) students at $1,000 per year (two semesters at $500) for the first year at a local Los Rios Community College District (American River, Cosumnes River, Folsom Lake, Sacramento City) or Sierra Community College District (Sierra) Community College.

The financial assistance provided by the Rotary Club of Citrus Heights may be used at the discretion of the student for tuition, fees, books, supplies, travel or other necessary educational expenses. 

·         Applicants: Applicants must be deserving high school graduates from Mesa Verde High School (MVHS) and San Juan High School (SJHS).

·         Selection: Awardees will be selected by Rotary Club of Citrus Heights Scholarship Committee. 

·         Application Requirements: All scholarship applicants must include the following documents with this application.

o    An Official High School Transcript in a sealed envelope.

o    A Personal Statement / Essay up to two pages in length about yourself, your qualifications, your aspirations /goals, your financial need, etc.

o    A one page Resume

o    Three Letters of Recommendation from non-family members.
