MEETING REMINDER:
Our 3rd Tuesday Meeting is tomorrow, at 5:30 PM at The Rusty Pelican (482 Myrtle Dr.
Covington, LA 70433). Our guest speaker will be Greg Lier, Rotary District 6840 Foundation Chair.
PREVIOUS MEETING:
Thank you to everyone who attended the previous meeting. We presented to Joey Roberts and Donna Laiche of the YMCA a check for $1300.00 thanks to the efforts of our Rotarians.
NOVEMBER SERVICE PROJECT: 8 days until
Phone Bank - This will consist of volunteers taking a list that our marketing coordinator will provide and calling through businesses and individuals identified as being potential supporters & attendees of the luncheon to sell them tables and sponsorships. I will get you in touch with the marketing coordinator once you sign up.
Day Before Luncheon Set Up - We will be setting up the decorations and table center pieces for Feeding the Needy Luncheon.
Check-in Table - You will be checking in patrons as they arrive and collecting payment for those who have committed and have not yet paid.
Table Ushers - You will be showing patrons where their tables are after check-in. The goal is to avoid a crowd or bottle neck at the check-in table.
Door greeters - You will be the first point of contact and you will direct patrons to the check-in table. You will make note of any elected officials so that we can give them recognition for attending.
After Luncheon Clean up - We will be breaking down the decorations and boxing them for storage.
NOTE: Those Rotarians who sign up to volunteer will be able to enjoy the luncheon event as the guests of the Club. You can choose to make a donation if you wish. Those not volunteering must purchase a ticket to attend.

Please ask your friends, family, and network to attend the luncheon or donate to the cause.
Individual tickets are $100.00.
The sponsorship tiers are as follows:
Tiger Sponsorship - $10,000: 2 tables, unique table signage, logo in brochure, logo on banner, recognition at event, advertising on the radio
Omaha Sponsorship - $5,000: 2 tables, unique table signage, logo in brochure, logo on banner, recognition at event
Cub Sponsorship - $3,000: 1 table of 6, logo in brochure, logo on banner
Table Sponsorship - $1,000: 1 table of 6, logo in brochure
Checks can be made payable to The Covington Rotary Foundation, which is a 501(c)3 foundation with the corresponding tax status. Please mail checks to The Covington Rotary Club, PO Box 541 Covington, LA 70434. Checks can also be dropped off at Baldwin Motors, 1730 N Hwy 190, in Covington. Please ask them to put FTN in the memo line.
