DISTRICT EVENT ! !
August 24, 2024 - 11 A.M. to - 5 P.M. Family Fun Day at McCleod State Park in Kiln, MS. The District will provide hamburgers and hot dogs, a live band, and a tent. There is a splash pad, basketball court, and playground for the kiddos as well as a nature trail. The park has an 18-hole disc golf course, and 3 sets of cornhole boards! This is a great opportunity for our Family of Rotary to enjoy a relaxing afternoon together. District Governor Sam is asking that each territory plan a side dish to contribute to the family meal. This is an inaugural Rotary District 6840 social event. Let’s set a goal for a minimum of 10 from our club to attend.
Please try to attend and let me know what we should cook!

For the August 24, 2024, date, I will only need approximately 4 -5 volunteers to help set up the rotary tent, serve hotdogs, chips, and drinks to the Boys and Girls Club.
For the month of July, ask your local businesses if they would like to donate any supplies or monetary contributions towards our August Service Project.
