Women Empowerment Through Training and Microenterprise Development

2017-2019

This Metro Rotary sponsored project provides the opportunity for women in Quime, Bolivia to expand their skills and knowledge to provide a better life for their families, as well as giving them the freedom and confidence to engage in a trade that does not include the danger of working in the mines.  More than 320 women have received training on entrepreneurialism, business management techniques, and microenterprise development.   Due to the success of the project, even more women are requesting to participate from the surrounding communities.
