Attend a Meeting
Good Friends. Interesting Talks. Delicious Breakfast.
Join Us On Friday Mornings to See What Metro Rotary is All About!
If you go to Auld Brewing Company at 6:50 AM on a Friday morning, you will see friendly Rotarians eager to greet you. Next, you will spy a scrumptious breakfast buffet. Naturally, you will help yourself to a heaping plate.
As you check in, you will notice the drawing tickets. Better buy a few! You could win half the pot! The rest goes to Rotary's polio eradication efforts. After some time of excited socializing, the club president will ring the Rotary Bell to initiate the meeting. Club updates are shared, and attendee "brags" are encouraged in exchange for a $5 donation to polio eradication.
Before long, the speaker is introduced and the program begins. Past speakers include notable community figures like Dr. Lawrence Schovanec, David Cho, Kirby Hocutt, Dr. Michelle McCord, David Weaver, Kurt Kiser and many others. Who knows who will be speaking when you're there! After the presentation concludes, the speaker signs a book that Metro Rotary will donate to the McWhorter Elementary School Library. Finally, the club recites Rotary's 4-Way Test to end the meeting.
We would love to have you visit at our next meeting. Check out our list of upcoming speakers. You're sure to find a program that piques your interest.
