Welcome to our Rotary Club!

Welcome to the Metropolitan Lubbock Rotary Club. We are one of three clubs in Lubbock, Texas, and the only breakfast club. We meet Friday mornings at 7:00 AM at the Clarion Grand Park Inn. We are an energetic group of professionals that enjoy getting up early to participate as Rotarians. Please take a look at our website and plan to join us for breakfast soon.

Rotary International is the world's first service club organization, with more than 1.2 million members in 33,000 clubs worldwide. Rotary club members are volunteers who work locally, regionally, and internationally to combat hunger, improve health and sanitation, provide education and job training, promote peace, and eradicate polio under the motto Service Above Self.

Rotary members unite at home and across the globe to put our experience and knowledge to work tackling our most pressing challenges. We focus our efforts in six areas: promoting peace, preventing diseases, providing access to clean water and sanitation, enhancing maternal and child health, improving basic education and literacy, and helping communities develop.

We are especially dedicated to ending polio in our lifetimes. Rotary members have persevered in this fight since 1985 and have now helped eradicate polio in all but three countries worldwide.

When you give to Rotary, you support the work we do in your community and around the world. We are a responsible organization that uses nearly 90% of our funding for program expenses.

The Four-Way Test is every Rotarian's guide to ethical behavior.

Of the things we think, say, and do:
Is it the truth?
Is it fair to all concerned?
Will it build good will and better friendships?
Is it beneficial to all concerned?
