This beautiful sign and a card signed by the kids made us feel so welcome and Special.
Bob Huston, AKA Santa Bob and Nina Mann presented each AK Child & Family student with a stocking filled with with school supplies, socks, gloves, hygiene items, healthy snacks and a candy at the Holiday Kickoff at AK Child & Family organized by Anchorage International Rotary. The stockings were stuffed during an AIR Fireside meeting. Santa Bob also presented the kids with a soft blanket, a Zoo pass and a Tastee Freeze gift certificate.

Rotarians Kevin Fimon, Angie Rush and Penny May assisted the students with holiday craft making and taking pictures with Santa Bob. The students made snowflakes, ornaments and even had portraits taken.

One of the students shared with Rotarian Angie Rush, “The best part of the night was getting to feel like a kid again. I haven’t felt like a kid since I was five years old. That was the last time I got to see Santa and this was so nice.”

Another student hugged the blanket he received and said, “This is the softest blanket I have ever had.”

It was such a fun time making crafts and talking with the kids.
