Jamie Delman has been proposed for membership by Beth Rose. Jamie Delman is a partner at Shaftel Delman Kaufman, LLC, a boutique Alaska law firm that focuses on estate planning, estate and trust administration, business formation, and tax planning. Because of a recent addition to the team, the firm can also provide immigration law services. Jamie’s practice focuses on estate, trust, business and tax work.
Jamie has presented before the Alaska chapter of ACTEC (the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel), and the Anchorage Estate Planning Council. He has also participated in hearings related to proposed legislation in the trust and estate field.
Jamie has done pro bono legal work for Alaska Legal Services Corporation as well as the Elizabeth Peratrovich Legal Clinic at the convention for the Alaska Federation of Natives. Jamie is on the board of the Anchorage Estate Planning Council.
Outside of legal work, Jamie enjoys hiking with his dog, Shakespeare, and (slow) downhill skiing when the snow is good! He’s (trying to) learn to play blues guitar. He is (mostly) fluent in French and is also learning Spanish. Jamie is interested in helping to improve lives of fellow Alaskans and additionly would like to explore opportunities to help improve lives outside Alaska and abroad. Jamie is being proposed under the classification of legal services.
